Ybor Knight Parade

The Ybor parade was threatened by weather, but all that did was rally everyone together for an awesome party and parade. Congratulations to Rodney Rohrs and his Ybor Knight committee for throwing such a great event for the Krewe. The day kicked off in a private little speakeasy environment at the Stone Soup Café that was filled with great cheer, drink and food. From there, King Raj and Queen Megan led their loyal subjects through a fun filled parade over the loaded streets of Ybor City. Neptune’s float covered the city with beads, and looked awesome with an enhanced glow of color. A great time for sure! Thanks again to all that helped make this event so enjoyable. Gasparilla Children’s Update from the Captain

YMKN family, Congratulations and a sound out to all that joined in on the Gasparilla Children’s Parade! Kevin McWilliams and his fantastic committee put on a fantastic event for all. The children will remember this parade for a life time. Special thanks to Marcie Shultz for the face tattoos. The ducks were a big success as well! In all we had 96 attendees and there was no lack of enthusiasm and energy from the kids. We can now look forward to the Gasparilla Parade next Saturday with confidence that our music and float are ready to roll for our biggest event and weekend of the year! The 2022 Cornation Ball certainly did not disappoint! Your new King Raj Persaud and Queen Megan Schultz took over reign from KC Clark and Shay Persaud in elegant style. More details and photos will be posted in our new photo gallery in the near future so stay tuned!
