What’s Ye Mystic Krewe of Neptune about?
Over a century ago, the first Krewes started to celebrate Mardi Gras.
In 1904, Tampa’s Krewe of Gasparilla came into being, initiating the Gasparilla festivities. Now, there are almost a hundred Krewes in the Tampa Bay area. In today’s busy work world, the Krewe of Neptune offers a chance to unwind, have fun, and make new friends. From costume parties to formal events, you and your S/O will have a great time participating in various exciting monthly activities. Joining the Krewe, you’ll quickly feel a strong bond and friendship among its lively and welcoming members.
Experience fun, formal and festive events.
Join in on thrilling local parades with the Krewe’s own double-decker float, featuring two bars, a top-notch stereo system, and restrooms for both men and women. We participate in the famous Gasparilla Parade and other parades around Tampa Bay. Your spouse or girlfriend will always be well looked after – we organize transportation, social events, and in 3-4 other parades, our ladies join us in the march.
Elegant Royal Coronation Ball.
This black-tie event is a standout social occasion. Witness the grand crowning of our new King, Queen, and their court, all amidst royal splendor. The night features exquisite dining, choice wines, and lively dancing to a live band, enjoyed by all members and distinguished guests.
The King’s Party.
Hosted by the new King, this event invites the Krewe to a themed celebration of his choice, with dinner, entertainment and an open bar as a fun and engaging party.
A Variety of Social Gatherings.
Our Krewe loves to have a good time, offering a wide variety of social events. Members and their S/Os enjoy various opportunities to socialize, from picnics to parties, to our annual cooking competition that helps foster new connections and lasting friendships.
